ACANEA Community Alliance is currently seeking community support to continue developing our youth programs.
We welcome sponsors, volunteers, mentors, schools, and organizations who want to help provide meaningful opportunities for young people in our community.
Our programs focus on leadership, wellness, arts, and media development, and they depend on collaboration with community partners.
Ways to Work With Us
Utica Walkathon – Youth Leadership Program
We are looking for support for the Youth Conference, training sessions, and the Walkathon event.

Youth Media Lab Program
This program trains youth in photography, videography, and storytelling while documenting positive community initiatives.
Support needed:
Organizations willing to allow youth to record and create stories at their location
Equipment sponsors (cameras, computers, media tools)
Program material sponsors
Mentors with media or creative experience
In-kind support for program maintenance
We invite schools, nonprofits, and businesses to collaborate by opening their space for youth media projects.
Culture of Peace Program
This wellness and expressive arts program helps youth develop emotional awareness, confidence, and resilience through movement, art, and mindfulness.
Support needed:
Schools willing to host the program
Community organizations willing to provide space
Sponsors for materials and art supplies
Sponsors for snacks / nourishment for youth
Mentors and volunteers
Mentors Needed
for All Programs
We are looking for positive adult mentors who want to support youth through leadership, arts, wellness, and community projects.
